Our pets have become part of the family. We name them, we sometimes raise them from infancy, watch them grow and care for them.
We choose the best food for our animals, we do things that are good for them. like take them on walks or to the dog park. Doggie day-care for working owners have popped up in the big cities like mushrooms after the rain. There are special dog walkers, dog clothes, dog fresh baked biscuits and dog shows. Pet dog insurance is also an important consideration.
When it comes to our pet's well being, we are the primary care giver. So when our pet does not behave or look like he usually does, we take it to the Vet for diagnosis and treatment.
New technologies enable us today to diagnose illnesses and provide treatments that were not there a few years ago. But it comes with a price tag.
